BIO
Amparo Domian is a Montreal-based vocalist whose artistry is a vibrant blend of the rich rhythms and textures of her Argentine roots and the spirit and language of jazz. Born and raised in Buenos Aires—a city pulsing with cultural and musical diversity—she absorbed the essence of its rich traditions, shaping a deeply authentic sound that transcends tradition, merging instinct with technique. Complementing her voice, she also plays the bombo legüero and the pandeiro, both traditional percussion instruments from the folklor music of Argentina and Brasil.
